I acknowledge the muwinina people, the Traditional Custodians of the land where I live and work, nipaluna/Hobart. I acknowledge the devastating truth that the muwinina did not survive colonisation, and I honor their enduring spirit. I pay my respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal community, the Traditional Owners of lutruwita/Tasmania, who continue to care for Country today. Sovereignty was never ceded. My practice is indebted to the deep history and continuing culture of these lands; I pay my respects to Elders across all times.
