1. Found Photo Negatives, 2023: 2 (of 6) black and white vintage photo negatives, each 6 x 9cm, nipaluna/Hobart TAS
The exhibition process began with the provocation of 6 timeworn photo negatives, revealing past residents of a house in
nipaluna/Hobart wherein I live. I found them on the floor in the corner of my studio room. Maybe they slipped from behind
the fireplace mantlepiece, where there is a small gap between itself and the wall? Maybe they settled in a neat little pile by
chance. They called to be listened to and followed as an offering of unknown generative potential.
